I work for HubSpot as Senior Marketing Manager for AI Microapps & ChatSpot. Beforehand, I was taking care of emerging messaging channels for HubSpot, including WhatsApp & SMS. Driving innovations from 0 to 1 has been my marketing career’s drive and motivates me to move forward on emerging channels and new technologies.
I graduated with the highest-ranked Digital Marketing Strategy Masters in the world for E-Business and Digital Marketing (Eduniversal 2021) with distinction at Trinity College and English literature honour degree bachelor at Xi’an Jiaotong University (an Ivy League university in China). My master’s thesis was awarded distinction with the topic “Crossing Borders with Crowdfunding: How Crowdfunding Platform Indiegogo Becomes New Digital Marketing Tools to Help the Business Go Global?” During the masters with Trinity Business School scholarship, I studied data analytics, digital design, social media, business models, sales management and emerging technologies on the way to becoming a passionate digital enterprise marketer. I have been professionally certified for Google Ads & Analytics, HubSpot Inbound & Social Media, SEMrush SEO, and Facebook Ads.
Work Experience
My previous CRM Marketing work for Huawei includes:
- Owned CRM campaigns that target 80 million Huawei Mobile Services users (achieved 7% high CTR on push notifications in Apr and 20% high Open Rate on email in Sep) and app developers, researching technical capabilities and achieving the KPIs and metrics to measure success in the European region.
- Built nurture campaigns for app customers (Music app, AppGallery, Petal Maps etc.) in Trial/Buy Now purchase cycles, maximising conversion from freemium to paying customers and other onboarding/upselling campaigns with segmentation, personalisation, A/B testing, nurture flow & logic, and data tracking.
- Decided European regional Push final approvals for country marketers & cross-functional teams while also hosting training to write copies that convert and share CRM practices.
- Created innovative acquisition and nurture campaigns with lifecycle initiatives & process optimisations for using internal CRM channels, e.g. push notifications, email, and SMS.
- Grew Huawei App Services by defining global product requirements for the website, managing CMS communications with developers & designers and report sharing at the European regional level.
My other experience was being the integrated marketing manager for Indiegogo (the biggest tech crowdfunding platform), taking initiatives to raise brand awareness and acquire entrepreneurs through marketing communications activities with Google & Facebook.
With years of full-time cross-functional and remote work experience in Global Enterprise Marketing Communications, I acquired market insights in the UK, Europe, China and America. From demand generation to client engagement and retention, I enjoy creating strategies and driving the implementation of marketing campaigns in the tech industry. As a creative and analytical person, I can generate innovative ideas and analyze their performances to understand how I can improve.
Hobbies and Interest
My hobbies stretch me too. Horse-riding and English debating keep me alert and adaptable to fast-changing conditions, and my black and white photography course at the Glasgow School of Art allowed me to follow my love of great aesthetics. Hard-working and constantly curious, I also enjoy sneaking back into my work desk to study further on online MBA certifications and strategic innovation for Creative Design and Venture Capital.
